Missions

Our church had the opportunity to serve the communities and churches in Maine as well as summer camp ministries. The focus of this trip was be to encourage the ministries spiritually and through facility maintenance projects, VBS, community outreach projects.

Our church, along with others, assisted those in Puerto Rico with clean up and re-building projects following a major hurricane.

Through Send Relief

We connected with church planters in Liverpool to pray for and serve the people there. We got to hear about the historical and current spiritual environment in England.

We are apart of changing children's lives all over the world! Pack a shoebox and have a big impact! Calvary serves as a drop off location during the third week of November. We greet donors, help unload cars, pack boxes into cartons and keep inventory. We also make trips to serve at the Baltimore Processing Center, inspecting shoeboxes prior to worldwide distribution!

A collaboration between International Mission Board and North American Mission Board; responding to natural disasters, caring for refugees, fighting human trafficking, supporting adoption, as we serve vulnerable people across the globe.

Baptist Global Response (BR) is a disaster relief and community development organization with a heart for helping people in desperate need. BGR and its partners respond to people with critical needs, whether those needs arise from chronic conditions-like extreme poverty, contaminated water, or endemic hunger-or acute crises-such as natural disaster, personal trauma, or social upheaval.

We support the Salaam Center located in the heart of Baltimore. They are dedicated to serving fellow Middle Eastern and Arabic-speaking refugees, immigrants, and asylum seekers who have made the great city of Baltimore their new home.

This yearly offering supports the work of international missions. 100% of the offering goes to the IMB overseas budget, helping support our missionaries. Lottie Moon was a missionary to China for 39 years and was passionate about reaching people for Jesus' name.

Each year this offering goes to support missionary salaries and training, church planting, and evangelism efforts in North America. Annie Armstrong was known as a great supporter of missionaries both through letter writing and prayer.

This offering opportunity occurs each September. Funds collected are used for camp evangelism, church planters, collegiate outreach, disaster relief and disability outreach.

As a member of the Southern Baptist Convention, we contribute a percentage to local (Susquehanna), State (Cooperative), North America (NAMB), and International (IMB) mission funds to support missions on all levels throughout the convention.
